We are seeking Junior and Senior Medical Device Developers to join our team in the field of cell therapy. As a Medical Device Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of medical devices used in cell therapy applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the development of antibody-based applications and/or cell separation. Knowledge and experience in fluidics and working with clinical samples such as whole blood and apheresis, are highly desired.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and develop medical devices for cell therapy applications, focusing on immunoassays, antibody-based applications, and cell selection/separation techniques.
Conduct research, feasibility studies, and experiments to evaluate and optimize device performance and functionality.
Apply knowledge of fluidics to develop innovative solutions for sample handling, cell sorting, and processing.
Design and implement assays and protocols to assess device performance using clinical samples, including whole blood and apheresis.
Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and present findings to the team and stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to ensure smooth integration of developed devices into larger systems or workflows.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cell therapy, medical device development, and relevant technologies through continuous learning and participation in conferences or seminars.
Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and regulatory submissions, as required.
Maintain a strong focus on quality and compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree / or a student for Junior position in a relevant scientific or engineering field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related discipline).
Proven experience in immunoassays, antibody-based applications, and cell selection/separation techniques, preferably in the context of cell therapy.
Knowledge of fluidics and experience in designing and optimizing fluidic systems for sample handling and cell sorting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with clinical samples, particularly whole blood and apheresis, and experience in handling and processing such samples is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using laboratory equipment, tools, and software for data analysis and experimental design.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate within an international team and interact with cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience in the medical device industry is a plus, including knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA regulations).
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
